Humanities

The Humanities Department invites students on a rich intellectual journey through the landscapes of human history, culture, geography, and belief. By exploring subjects such as History, Geography, and Religious Studies, students develop a deep appreciation for the world they inhabit — its past, its diversity, and its complexity. History lessons challenge students to understand the forces that have shaped nations and societies, while Geography nurtures an awareness of both the physical environment and the human communities that depend on it. Religious and ethical studies ground students in values, morality, and an understanding of the spiritual dimensions of life.

The department encourages students to think analytically, ask difficult questions, and engage with different perspectives with openness and respect. A strong grounding in the Humanities prepares students to be thoughtful, informed, and compassionate global citizens.
